J DILLA REST IN PEACE
Just wanted to take this time to send my prayers out to the Yancey family. James Yancey, the man known to the hip-hop world as
Jay Dee and J Dilla, passed away February 10th 2006. I met Jay Dee for the first time last year in May 2005. I had just gotten off
the bus striving to network and make moves in Cali and the first spot I went to was a club named Element. Oh No, Jean Grae, The
Procussions and others had just got done performing. Before I met Jay Dee I ran into Peanut Butter Wolf heading out the door.
I built with him for a few minutes and thank him for adding on and preserving authentic Hip - Hop. Meeting Jay Dee was an
experience that I will never forget. It was dope to meet an official master and someone who you could tell loved creating
beat designs that blew minds. J Dilla will be missed but never forgotten.
You make sure you pick up J Dilla Donuts here's where you'll find it http://www.stonesthrow.com
